Al Maryah Community Bank is the first fully digital bank licensed in the United Arab Emirates, launched in Abu Dhabi in 2021. Its Mbank application handles account opening, payments, lending and merchant services entirely from a phone, with no physical branch network. The bank builds its own digital marketplace and business banking tools for small companies in the emirate.
