Overview
Altom Transport is a family-owned bulk tank truck carrier headquartered in Hammond, Indiana, that hauls liquid petroleum products, specialty chemicals and hazardous and special wastes across the United States and Canada. Now in its third generation, the company traces its trucking roots to 1948, runs more than 10 terminals with a fleet of stainless steel and aluminium tank trailers, and serves Fortune 500 shippers with products ranging from motor and aviation fuels to acids, resins and solvents. It hires CDL-A tanker drivers for over-the-road, regional and road routes, owner-operators, diesel mechanics and fleet maintenance managers, alongside marketing and software engineering staff.
