Amazon Mechanical Turk

Amazon Mechanical Turk is a crowdsourcing marketplace run by Amazon where businesses post small online tasks for a distributed global workforce to complete. Workers pick up paid microtasks such as data labeling, surveys, transcription and content moderation, while requesters use its tools and APIs to scale work that needs human judgment. Launched in 2005, the service is operated by Amazon Web Services, which is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
