Overview
BHE Renewables is the renewable generation business of Berkshire Hathaway Energy, based in Davenport, Iowa, that develops, owns and operates solar, wind, hydroelectric and geothermal projects. It has more than 4,500 megawatts of renewable capacity in 11 states, invests in 36 wind projects across seven states, and runs four natural gas-fueled plants adding 898 megawatts. Its geothermal fleet includes 10 facilities operated under the CalEnergy name in the Imperial Valley of California, with a total net capacity of 345 megawatts staffed by its own plant operators, engineers and technicians.
