Overview
The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is a sovereign Native American tribal nation headquartered in Durant, Oklahoma, whose reservation covers ten and a half counties in the southeastern part of the state. Its government runs health care, housing, education and social services for its members, and its business arm operates Choctaw Casinos and Resorts, travel plazas, manufacturing and other enterprises that make it one of the largest employers in southeastern Oklahoma. It hires casino and hotel staff, facility systems dispatchers, shipping and receiving clerks, project managers, clinical staff and government administrators.
