Current, formerly Crete Professionals Alliance, is a United States platform that partners with and acquires independent accounting firms, giving them shared technology, capital and back-office support. Founded in 2023 and run from Tampa, Florida, it has brought together more than 40 firms, over 2,000 professionals and some 30 offices nationwide, together with a delivery centre in Hyderabad, India. Member firms provide tax, assurance, advisory and corporate restructuring services to clients across dozens of industries, while the platform invests in automation and further tuck-in acquisitions.
