CYBERDYNE develops cybernics technologies and robotic medical devices that integrate humans and machines to assist movement and rehabilitation. The company is best known for its wearable Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) exoskeleton and related Cybernics interfaces and devices, which are used in medical rehabilitation, nursing care, industrial workplaces and daily living support. Founded as a university-originated venture in 2004, CYBERDYNE commercializes and socially implements Cybernics systems through clinical deployments, licensing and partnerships in Japan and international markets.
