Overview
Dryad Networks builds solar-powered gas sensors that detect wildfires in their smouldering phase, connected by a mesh network. Founded in 2020 near Berlin, it uses embedded machine learning on the sensor to distinguish fire from ordinary forest chemistry. Its Silvanet system is deployed in forests across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
