Hamburger Energienetze is the municipally owned operator of the electricity and gas distribution grids in Hamburg, Germany, responsible for grid connections, metering, maintenance and network expansion. Formed through the merger of Stromnetz Hamburg and Gasnetz Hamburg, it is based on Bramfelder Chaussee and also documents networks for hydrogen and fibre, supporting heat pumps, electric mobility and decentralised generation. It hires technical customer service craftsmen, control system electronics technicians, overhead line fitters, GIS specialists, project managers for grid construction and SAP utilities consultants.
