Overview
JBS Australia is the Australian arm of the Brazilian food group JBS and the largest meat and food processor in Australia, based in Brisbane, Queensland, with beef, lamb, pork, smallgoods and salmon operations. It entered Australia in 2007 by buying Australia Meat Holdings and has since added businesses such as Primo smallgoods, Rivalea pork and Huon Aquaculture, running processing plants, feedlots and distribution sites across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and other states. It hires production workers, quality analysts, plant engineers, maintenance technicians, workplace trainers and logistics staff.
