JEPLAN develops chemical recycling technologies that break down polyester and other plastic-based textiles into constituent monomers for remanufacture. It operates a consumer-facing collection program called BRING to gather used garments and plastic items and feed them into its recycling and purification processes. JEPLAN supplies recycled polyester and related materials to apparel brands and industrial customers in Japan to reduce reliance on virgin petrochemical feedstocks and lower lifecycle carbon emissions.
