Overview
Kraken Technologies is a software company headquartered in London that builds Kraken, an operating platform for energy and utility companies covering billing, customer service, smart meter data, flexibility and grid operations. Created inside Octopus Energy Group in 2016, it now licenses its platform to energy suppliers and utilities such as EDF, E.ON Next, Origin Energy and Tokyo Gas, managing tens of millions of customer accounts worldwide.
