Letara

Letara develops next-generation rocket propulsion systems with a focus on hybrid rocket propulsion for space transportation and defense applications. The company builds safer, more cost-effective and scalable propulsion solutions by translating academic research from Hokkaido University and Muroran Institute of Technology into industry-ready hardware for launch service providers, government aerospace programs and defense customers. Letara is a METI J-Startup participant based in Hokkaido, Japan, and has received recognition and support from Japanese agencies including ATLA, METI and MEXT as well as international partners such as JAXA, NASA and global investors.
