Its evaluations of autonomous replication, research engineering and time horizon scaling are run with leading laboratories before deployment, and its published time horizon curve became a widely cited measure of agent progress. The non-profit develops open task suites and methodology so that third parties can reproduce its results.","industry":"Artificial Intelligence","segment":"AI Evaluation & Observability","size":null,"founded":2022,"hq":{"city":"Berkeley","country":"US"},"links":{"github":"https://github.com/metr","linkedin":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/metr-evals","x":"https://x.com/metr_evals"},"hiring_now":true,"claimed":false,"url":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org","open_jobs":8},"pages":{"profile":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org","jobs":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org/jobs","technologies":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org/technologies","salaries":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org/salaries","visa":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org/visa"},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":33251},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=33251"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=company%2Fmetr-org"},{"id":"company.list","title":"Companies by industry, country, size, technology and hiring","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per company in a list","note":"companies like this one: the same industry segments, technologies, country and size","call":{"mcp_tool":"similar_companies","arguments":{"company":33251},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/similar_companies?company=33251"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.list&for=company%2Fmetr-org"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":33251},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/search_jobs?company=33251"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=company%2Fmetr-org"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"company/metr-org\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=company%2Fmetr-org"}],"html_url":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org","json_url":"https://alion.io/company/metr-org.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-21T05:51:51Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":8544,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-22T00:00:00Z"}}}
