MHA, the Mental Health Association, is a non-profit provider of residential and community-based services in western Massachusetts for people living with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Its programmes include supported and shared living homes, outreach and integration services run with the state Department of Developmental Services, brain-injury rehabilitation through its New Way division, emergency respite and housing-first support for people facing homelessness. With more than 60 years of work around Springfield, it employs direct care staff, nurses, clinicians and residential supervisors.
