The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre is the Dubai institution founded in 2006 that develops the space programme of the United Arab Emirates. Its engineers built the KhalifaSat and DubaiSat spacecraft, ran the Emirates Mars Mission and manage the national astronaut programme. The centre also operates satellite ground stations and geospatial data services for government users.
