Monument Health is a community-based nonprofit health care system headquartered in Rapid City, South Dakota, serving western South Dakota and eastern Wyoming through hospitals, clinics and urgent care centers. Known as Regional Health until 2019, it runs Rapid City Hospital, an orthopedic and specialty hospital and community hospitals including Spearfish, along with specialty clinics in cardiology, oncology and sports medicine, and is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. It hires nurses and nurse aides, laboratory scientists and assistants, pharmacy and sterile processing technicians, patient financial advocates and call center and support staff.
