Motel One is a German hotel group headquartered in Munich that operates budget design hotels in central city locations, pairing modern interiors with low room rates, and also runs the premium The Cloud One brand. The group has more than 110 hotels in 13 countries, including Germany, Austria, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czechia, Denmark, Switzerland and the US, and it describes itself as the originator of the budget design hotel concept. It recruits front office and housekeeping supervisors, receptionists, technicians, sales managers, hotel apprentices and dual-study students, plus head office staff in tax, accounting and data analytics.
