Overview

NYCAMH, the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health, is an occupational health organisation based in Cooperstown, New York, that improves the safety and well-being of farmers, fishermen and rural workers. A program of the Bassett Healthcare Network founded in the early 1980s by two pulmonologists, it offers safety and health training, PTO shields, respirator fit testing, health and counseling services and a resource library across New York and the Northeast. Its safety specialists, educators and researchers work with farms, forestry and rural businesses and run the National ROPS Rebate Program and the John May Farm Safety Fund.
