OCEAN is a bitcoin mining pool that lets miners construct their own block templates rather than accepting the pool's transaction selection. It pays rewards directly from the coinbase transaction, avoiding custody of miner earnings. The pool was launched to counter concentration of transaction selection power among large operators.
