PD Aerospace is a Japanese space venture founded in 2007 and headquartered in Aichi Prefecture. The company develops a fully reusable winged suborbital spaceplane and pursues a commercial space transportation business focused on suborbital space travel. It also works on aviation legislation, aircraft operations, related services and medical applications, and in 2020 concluded a basic agreement with Okinawa Prefecture to participate in the Shimojishima Spaceport Project aimed at enabling manned spacecraft takeoff and landing.
