PowerSpin develops spintronics-based power devices and MRAM technologies originating from research at Tohoku University. Its MRAM and spintronic device designs are intended for next-generation logic and memory applications and aim to reduce power consumption by up to 100× compared with conventional solutions as LSI integration scales. The company targets semiconductor manufacturers, system integrators and device makers in markets such as IoT, edge computing and consumer electronics that require ultra-low-power memory and logic.
