PuREC

PuREC is a Japanese biotechnology company that develops highly purified stem cell products marketed under the name REC for regenerative medicine. The company is developing REC-based cell therapies targeting bone and joint disorders, with its lead indication focused on hypophosphatasia and additional applications planned for conditions such as spinal canal stenosis. PuREC aims to commercialize safer and more effective cell therapies for orthopedic and musculoskeletal markets and is part of Japan's METI J-Startup program.
