Raptor Maps analyses aerial thermal and visual imagery of solar farms to find failed modules, wiring faults and construction defects. Founded in 2015 out of MIT, its software has processed tens of gigawatts of installed photovoltaic capacity worldwide. Asset owners use the anomaly maps to prioritise field repairs and settle warranty claims.
