RegCell is a Japan-based biotechnology company spun out of university research that develops novel immunotherapies focused on T cells. The company advances platform technologies to control antigen-specific T‑cell function and to harness regulatory and effector T‑cell mechanisms for therapeutic use. RegCell commercializes research led by immunologists Shimon Sakaguchi and Hiroshi Kawamoto to address clinical needs in oncology, autoimmune disease and transplantation through partnerships with pharmaceutical and clinical research organizations.
