Overview
Zum is a student transportation company headquartered in Redwood City, California, that combines school bus and charter operations with its Connected Mobility Experience platform of apps, dashboards and routing software for districts, parents, drivers and yard teams. Founded in 2015, it serves school districts across the US, is rolling out electric school buses including a large fleet in San Francisco, and is backed by investors such as Sequoia Capital, GIC, TPG and SoftBank.
