Overview
Saxbys is a Philadelphia-based coffee and hospitality company whose cafes on college and university campuses are run by student teams as part of its Experiential Learning Platform, giving students hands-on experience of managing a business. Founded by Nick Bayer and certified as a benefit corporation, it operates campus cafes at schools such as Temple, Purdue, Northeastern, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Virginia, with a student chief operating officer leading each location. Its board lists part-time cafe team member and student cafe operating officer roles at individual campuses, plus headquarters positions such as partner marketing.
