ScrapingBee builds a web scraping API for developers and small businesses that need to fetch pages without managing proxies or headless browsers. The API renders JavaScript, rotates proxies and returns HTML or extracted data, and the product mostly serves SMBs and individual developers, with the brand still run as a separate entity. The French company was started in 2019 by Kevin Sahin and Pierre de Wulf, went through TinySeed, grew to more than 2,500 customers with a team of six, and was acquired by the Oxylabs group in June 2025.
