Tru Vue is a US maker of high-performance glass and acrylic glazing, including anti-reflective, UV-protective and conservation-grade products for custom picture framing, museums, displays, interiors and electronics, and is based in McCook, near Chicago. Founded in 1946 as Chicago Dial to make glass for radio dials and later television screens, it is part of the Performance Surfaces segment of Minneapolis-based Apogee Enterprises alongside ChromaLuxe, Unisub and ResinDek. Its product lines include Museum Glass, Conservation Clear and Optium Museum Acrylic, sold to framers through distributors and supplied to museums and collectors for artworks and exhibitions.
