University Pension Plan is a jointly sponsored defined benefit pension plan and institutional investor for employees of Ontario universities. It manages a diversified global portfolio of public equities, fixed income, private equity, infrastructure, real estate and credit, and has set a net-zero emissions target for its investments. Launched in 2021 and headquartered in Toronto, UPP was created by Queen's University, the University of Guelph and the University of Toronto and their employee groups.
