This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality products that meet company standards. The role requires attention to detail to detect and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules. Operators will collaborate with team members and supervisors to uphold safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position contributes directly to the company’s manufacturing output and operational excellence during the 2nd and 3rd shifts.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing machinery.\nAbility to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules reliably.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.\nPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environment.\nFamiliarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.\nBasic troubleshooting and maintenance skills related to machinery.\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints or manuals.\nCertification in machine operation or related technical training.\nResponsibilities:\nSet up and operate manufacturing machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines.\nMonitor machine performance and product quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.\nPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.\nIdentify and report mechanical issues or defects promptly to maintenance teams for resolution.\nMaintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with shift supervisors and team members.\nAdhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.\nAssist in training new operators and support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor.\nSkills:\nThe required skills enable the operator to efficiently set up and run machines while maintaining product quality and safety standards. Attention to detail is essential for monitoring machine output and identifying any deviations or malfunctions early. Communication skills are used daily to coordinate with supervisors and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations. Physical stamina and manual dexterity support the hands-on nature of the role, including equipment adjustments and routine maintenance.
