Additionally, the Set Up Mechanic repairs machines, conducts preventive and proactive maintenance, and maintains records of all the department’s machinery and peripherals. Cartamundi is a multi-million-dollar global manufacturer for many of the world’s most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, Collectible Trading Cards, and Board Game brands in the world!\nWhat you’ll do as aMaintenance Technician:\nWork closely with the company safety officer to ensure all machines meet safety standards.\nEnsure a safe working environment free from environmental or mechanical hazards.\nAdhere to all safety policies and regulations; Strictly follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures.\nWork in close association with the Maintenance Team to ensure continuity and coordination of effort to keep machines running.\nKeep detailed maintenance records of all associated equipment.\nManage the backstock of set-up parts and materials and submit orders when needed.\nCoordinate with the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor to obtain all necessary repair parts and expendables.\nManage the department’s issued tools.\nPerform machine set up tasks related to card cutter and wrapping operations including set-up and adjustment of feeder, blades, and delivery.\nFabricate rails and guides to move items through conveyors or machines.\nAugment maintenance personnel and fill gaps to keep the machines running.\nPerform routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping of work area.\nRequires personal contact with other employees and company management in a positive, professional manner.\nMust be able to read SAE and metric measurements and use quality tools to verify quality standards to ensure the setup is correct.\nMust be able to read basic wiring diagrams and data from technical manuals to apply to the machine and identify the root cause of an issue.\nMust be able to read calipers and use a torque wrench.\nWe’re looking for aMaintenance Technician with:\nAble to read calipers and both SAE and metric measurements.\nRead technical drawings and wiring diagrams.\nAt least 1-3 years’ experience in the manufacturing or machine repair environment\nBilingual English/Spanish preferred\nBasic computer skills and knowledge of Word and Excel desired; Ability to learn basic SAP as it applies to logging make ready time.\nKnowledge of industrial blade sharpening highly desired, but not required.\nBenefitsaMaintenance Technician Can Expect from Cartamundi:\nCompetitive pay\nClimate controlled facility\n401(k) with company match\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance starting day one.\nHSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Savings Account)\nLife insurance\nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability\nPaid time off\nEmployee discounts on daycare, gym memberships, travel, and much more\nPhysical requirements and working conditions:\nOur manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space.
