That's why we live different, play different.\nTheProduction Lead will oversee the day to day tactical operations of a manufacturing area in alignment with the business strategy to support Customer Requirements.\nWhat you’ll do as a Production Lead:\nEnsure a physically and emotionally safe workplace for all\nSupport supervisor in proper staffing of both direct and indirect labor to meet production targets\nOperate multiple machines within designated area\nEnsure integrity of production numbers entered into ERP system.\nManage inventory locations both physically and in ERP system\nEnsure employee conduct meets the values established by Cartamundi. \nAssist in overseeing the performance of direct and indirect reports \nAssist Supervisor in training all staff to quality metrics, safety metrics, and performance metrics\nEnsure line quality metrics are met\nProvide timely constructive feedback to direct reports and project teams to ensure output is in accordance with expectations\nMaintain positive, collaborative relationships with direct reports and project teams to promote a high level of commitment and engagement\nInform supervisor when materials, personnel and/or equipment are down or out.\nRemain current in manufacturing technologies that support sustainability and a competitive edge for overall organizational health and growth\nLead by example, displaying day-to-day leadership behavior that builds a collaborative, positive culture in support of organizational health and growth \nWe’re looking for a Production Lead with:\nBilingual (English/Spanish) Required: Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish. Ability to interact professionally with employees, candidates, customers, and stakeholders in both languages is required.\n\nPrevious Technical Training and 2+ Years of progressive manufacturing\nPrefer two (2) years in a lead role, overseeing individual contributors and leading production staff in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferable in a high-tech, equipment intensive manufacturing facility\nDemonstrated ability to build and maintain cross functional, collaborative teams\nIn depth knowledge and application of Lean manufacturing principles\nDemonstrated knowledge of problem-solving techniques/strategies\nAnalytical problem-solving skills\nCompetent Computer Skills: MS Office, MRP/ERP\nHS Diploma/GED is required\nPhysical requirements/working conditions:\nOur manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space.
