This role will work closely with the Technical Services and project teams to support the development and optimization of the Phoenix Project.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport hydrogeological field programs, including drilling, well installation, hydrogeological testing, groundwater and surface water sampling and monitoring\nCollect, compile, review, and manage hydrogeological and wellfield data from field and digital monitoring systems\nMonitor and report on water levels, flows, pressures, and other near-real-time wellfield data\nSupport pumping tests and provide field oversight of drilling and testing contractors as required\nAssist with hydrogeological analysis, data interpretation, visualization, and groundwater modelling\nSupport the development of technical reports, progress updates, presentations, proposals, and other project documentation\nWork with multidisciplinary teams to support hydrogeological investigations, research, and wellfield optimization\nAssist with the development and improvement of hydrogeological data management and modelling practices\nFollow all health, safety, and environmental requirements and support a safe and collaborative work environment\nRequirements\nYou are a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with an interest in hydrogeology and the opportunity to develop your skills in a remote project environment. You are comfortable working in the field, learning new systems and technologies, and working with multidisciplinary teams. In addition, you have:\nBachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline\nUp to 3 years of relevant work experience\nField work and experience with hydrogeological monitoring equipment are assets\nFamiliarity with hydrogeological testing, groundwater monitoring, sampling, or filed data collection is an asset\nExperience with hydrogeological analysis or modelling software such as AQTESOLV or FEFLOW is an asset\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing\nProficiency with MS Office and the ability to learn new software and digital tools\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team\nStrong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices\nAbility and willingness to work in remote field environmental and varying weather conditions\nValid Class 5 driver’s license\nBenefits\nAll applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
