This role manages the planning, coordination, and execution of materiel handling, field support, and logistical workflows to ensure timely and efficient support for testing and acquisition programs. The Logistics Manager supervises staff, coordinates with Government and contractor personnel, and ensures compliance with DoD, Air Force, and contract requirements.\nResponsibilities\nEssential Job Functions:\nOversee logistics planning and execution for operational testing, data collection, and experimentation activities.\nManage receipt, storage, distribution, and accountability of materiel, test equipment, and acquisition systems.\nEnsure logistics support aligns with operational test schedules and mission requirements.\nSupervise logistics personnel, ensuring proper training, performance, and adherence to procedures.\nCoordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, and field teams to provide seamless support for test operations.\nDevelop and maintain logistics documentation, reports, and data management records.\nEnsure proper handling and transportation of equipment, including hazardous materials and sensitive test assets.\nSupport integration of data management and operational reporting within logistics processes.\nIdentify, analyze, and resolve logistics issues or bottlenecks, implementing process improvements as needed.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and security regulations in all logistics operations.\nQualifications\nNecessary Skills and Knowledge:\nKnowledgeable of and ability to work a variety of automated systems, processes and procedures and database formats to include Global Combat Support Systems - Army (GCSS-Army).\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling tools, and program management software.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for reports, briefings, and stakeholder engagement. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree\nMinimum ten (10) years of experience in logistics operations management. \nAbility to travel as needed.\nAll personnel require TOP SECRET clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Logistics, Program Management, or Business Administration.\nExperience supporting Air Force operational test programs.\nFamiliarity with data management systems for logistics and operational testing.\nPay and Benefits At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
