We take pride in fostering an engaging, inclusive culture and encouraging employees to bring new ideas to the table, develop their skills, and build dynamic and fulfilling careers.\n\nFor more information, please visit www.gordonbrothers.com.\n\nDescription\nThe Business Development Representative will be base in our Austin, TX office and will support the achievement of sales targets through prospecting and lead generation with clients in the transportation sector.Prospecting and Lead Generation:\nIdentify and target fleets and semi-truck dealerships for potential business opportunities.\nConduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential clients.\nClient Relationship Management:\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within fleets and semi-truck dealerships.\nUnderstand clients’ needs and challenges to tailor solutions that align with their business goals.\nSales Presentations and Negotiations:\nDeliver compelling sales presentations to showcase our asset disposition services and highlight their benefits.\nNegotiate terms and contracts to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership with clients.\nCollaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:\nWork closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless implementation of asset disposition services.\nProvide feedback and insights to improve service offerings based on client feedback and industry demands.\nAchieve Sales Targets:\nDevelop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.\nTrack and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to the management team.\nStay Informed on Industry Regulations:\nStay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to asset disposition in the transportation sector.\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred\n1-2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, business development, or other customer-facing role\nComfortable initiating outbound calls and engaging new prospects\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nDemonstrated willingness to learn and receive coaching\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nGoal-oriented, experience working toward quotas or performance metrics\nDesire to build a career in sales\nGordon Brothers offers a very competitive total compensation package, including base salary and bonus plan, health insurance, dental benefits, a generous 401(k) match, time off benefits, and more.\nIn compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), please contact the Human Resources department if you have a disability and need reasonable accommodation with any part the application process.
