It requires the incumbent to assume responsibility for a variety of activities related to the operationalizing the various nursing programs. This position works in collaboration with nursing faculty and other administrative personnel in the Keigwin School of Nursing.\nSupervisor Responsibilities\nStudent workers \nDuties/Responsibilities\nAdministrative Support and Communications\nProvides administrative support to program directors\nServes as the primary point of contact for visitors to the KSON building and for communication with Nursing Program Directors.\nCommunicates building-related information, submits work orders, and ensures compliance with safety protocols.\nAttends committee meetings within KSON as assigned by Program Directors\nScheduling and Operational Management\nMaintains the master schedule for all KSON programs, including faculty load assignments, adjunct and overload scheduling, and classroom coordination\nManages daily operational activities for the KSON, including updates to the website, distribution of student announcements, and oversight of social media platforms.\nManages and schedules conference rooms within the BRCHS building.\nOversees the scheduling, task assignment, and supervision of student workers in alignment with the goals of KSON leadership.\nAssists with the creation, management, and maintenance of KSON policies and procedures in collaboration with Directors and the Associate Dean.\nStudent Engagement and Events\nAssists in planning and implementing student activities and KSON events in collaboration with KSON leadership and faculty\nDevelops, organizes, and maintains nursing student engagement projects.\nServes as a liaison for nursing student tours and the entry-level nursing program ambassador program.\nCoordinates with Nursing Program Directors to assess and support student needs.\nMarketing and Social Media\nCollaborates with the Department Chair of Online, Cohorts, and Marketing to manage KSON’s social media presence\nCreates, posts, and advertises events on social media platforms in alignment with the KSON mission and policies.\nMonitors social media accounts and responds to comments in a professional and timely manner.\nData and Reporting\nAssists in the aggregation of program data and preparation of reports. \nOther\nPerforms other duties as assigned to support the mission and operations of the Keigwin School of Nursing.\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nExcellent communication skills (both veral and written)\nUnderstanding of and commitment to the use of technology\nProficiency in social media applications, especially Facebook and Twitter\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel\nStrong organizational skills\nEvent planning\nCustomer-focused approach\nEducation, Experience, Licenses & Certifications\nBachelor’s degree\nMaster's Degree (preferred)\nKnowledge of nursing profession and educational requirements, experience in advising preferred\nExperience working in a diverse environment\nPreferred: experience working in organization systems management and/or leadership\nPreferred: experience working in a university environment.\nPhysical Requirements\nManual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines\nNear vision sufficient to read written communications and computer display screens\nAdequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone\nNo limitations on physical lifting ability\nImportant Note\nThis is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required for this position.
