We offer one of the industry’s widest portfolios of power options, including 100% battery-electric, diesel-electric hybrid, CNG, and clean diesel.\nENC is committed to revitalizing American manufacturing through innovation, customer focus, and the delivery of high-quality vehicles that keep communities connected, supported, and moving forward.\nAssembler I (Temp to Hire)\nLocation: Riverside, CA\nPay Range: $21.00-25.00/hr. \nSchedule: Onsite from 6am - 2:30pm \nPosition Summary\nThe General Assembly Technician I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting vehicle or component assembly operations under close supervision. This position focuses on learning fundamental assembly skills, safe tool usage, and basic manufacturing processes while contributing to daily production goals. The technician works as part of a small team and follows established work instructions, quality checks, and safety requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform basic mechanical assembly tasks such as fastening components, installing brackets, and assisting with subassemblies\nUse hand tools and basic power tools under guidance and supervision\nAssist with electrical work including wire routing, labeling, and preparation for termination\nSupport body and interior assembly activities such as panel installation, surface prep, sealing, and material handling\nFollow work instructions, drawings, and verbal direction to complete assigned tasks\nConduct self-checks of completed work to ensure it meets basic quality expectations\nComplete required production checklists, logs, and documentation accurately\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards\nEscalate issues related to quality, fitment, safety, or unclear instructions to the supervisor or lead technician\nLearn and develop skills to meet expected takt time and productivity standards\nQualifications\nRequired Skills:\n1-2 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a hands-on work environment\nBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly processes\nAbility to safely use hand tools and basic power tools with instruction\nAbility to read and follow basic drawings or work instructions with support\nGood attention to detail and ability to follow directions\nReliable attendance and a strong focus on safety\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work with hands for extended periods\nAbility to lift and move materials up to established limits with or without assistance\nAbility to safely operate hand and power tools\nWork Environment:\nManufacturing environment with exposure to noise, tools, equipment, and varying temperatures.
