We\noffer one of the industry’s widest portfolios of power options, including 100% battery-electric, diesel-electric hybrid, CNG, and clean diesel. \nENC is committed to revitalizing American manufacturing through innovation, customer focus, and the delivery of high-quality vehicles that keep communities connected, supported, and moving forward.\nSales Operations Process Specialist (Temporary)\nLocation: Riverside, CA\nPay Range: $45.50 - $52.50/hr\nDuration: 1-3 months\nPosition Summary \nThe Sales Operations Process Specialist is responsible for developing, documenting, and standardizing the processes, procedures, and operational documentation that support the Transit Sales department. This temporary role will create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflow diagrams, process maps, work instructions, templates, and training documentation that establish consistency, improve efficiency, and support the continued growth of the Sales organization.\nWorking under the direction of the Director of Sales Operations, this position will collaborate with cross-functional departments including Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Production, Warranty, Marketing, and Legal as needed to accurately document handoffs, responsibilities, and workflows that directly support Sales Operations. The primary focus of this role is to build and maintain the operational framework that enables the Sales team to execute work efficiently, consistently, and at scale culminating in the development of a comprehensive Sales Operations Playbook that serves as the department's central operating guide.\nKey Responsibilities\nThis list of essential duties is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of this position unless doing so would create an undue hardship.\nDevelop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Sales Operations processes.\nCreate process maps, workflow diagrams, swim lane charts, and other visual documentation to illustrate departmental workflows.\nAnalyze current Sales Operations processes and cross-functional workflows that support the Sales Operations function to identify opportunities for standardization and improved efficiency.\nDocument current-state and future-state workflows for sales, quoting, bidding, contract administration, program management, document control, and related business functions.\nCollaborate with department leader to validate and implement standardized processes.\nEnsure all process documentation is organized, version controlled, and easily accessible.\nDevelop work instructions, templates, checklists, and supporting documentation to improve consistency.\nDevelop and maintain the Sales Operations Playbook, consolidating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, best practices, templates, work instructions, roles and responsibilities, process documentation, and training materials into a centralized resource for the department.\nAssist with change management initiatives related to new processes and organizational improvements.\nSupport development of departmental training materials and onboarding documentation.\nRecommend process improvements that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of the Sales Operations department.\nMaintain confidentiality of proprietary company information and customer data.\nPosition Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in business process improvement, operations, project coordination, business analysis, technical documentation, or a related field.\nStrong understanding of business process documentation and workflow development.\nExperience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.\nProficiency in Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar process mapping software.\nExcellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nStrong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document complex business processes.\nAbility to gather information from multiple stakeholders and translate it into clear, standardized documentation.\nStrong facilitation and interviewing skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.\nExperience with continuous improvement methodologies is preferred (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).\nExperience creating SOPs, workflow diagrams, and process documentation required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience documenting business processes within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments is strongly desired.\nFamiliarity with ERP, CRM, CPQ, or document management systems is preferred.\nExperience supporting cross-functional business operations preferred.\nLean Six Sigma certification or similar process improvement certification is a plus.\nWork Environment\nThis is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA and requires being onsite. \nCareer Growth at ENC \nWe believe great careers and leaders are built from within.
