We offer one of the industry’s widest portfolios of power options, including 100% battery-electric, diesel-electric hybrid, CNG, and clean diesel.\nENC is committed to revitalizing American manufacturing through innovation, customer focus, and the delivery of high-quality vehicles that keep communities connected, supported, and moving forward.\nTechnical Recruiter\nLocation: Riverside, CA\nSalary Range: $80,000 - $95,000/yr. \nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting initiatives across multiple departments, with a primary focus on engineering and technical functions, while also supporting additional departments as needed. This role plays a critical part in attracting, identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent to support ENC’s mission for designing and manufacturing industry-leading transit solutions. It directly supports production readiness and innovation timelines by ensuring critical technical roles are filled with speed, quality, and long-term retention in mind.\nThe Technical Recruiter will serve as a subject matter expert with strong technical sourcing capabilities and ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, deliver high-quality talent, and ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.\nPhysical Presence Requirement\nThis is an onsite position based in Riverside, CA; regular, 5 days per week in-office presence is required.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn full-cycle recruiting for technical and professional roles across our growing Engineering, Service, Technical and Corporate departments.\nPartner with hiring managers to understand production schedules, program timelines, and engineering milestones to align recruiting urgency with business deliverables.\nParticipate in workforce planning discussions with HR and leadership to anticipate future technical hiring needs.\nProvide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.\nLead intake meetings to define role scope, required competencies, interview plans, and selection criteria.\nDevelop talent pipelines for hard-to-fill, plant-based, and hands-on engineering roles where local market supply may be limited.\nCreate and post job descriptions, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through the interview process.\nCoordinate assessments, lead interviews and offer process, debrief with hiring managers and partner with Recruiting Coordinator for support.\nAdapt to evolving hiring priorities while maintaining a strong customer-service mindset for both candidates and internal stakeholders.\nTrack metrics such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and labor costs to optimize hiring efficiency.\nMaintain compliance with EEO, OFCCP, and internal recruiting policies.\nContribute to employer branding strategies and local outreach campaigns to enhance hiring outcomes.\n Position Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.\n4-7 years of recruitment experience, preferably in an EV, automotive, or heavy equipment environment.\nExperience recruiting for onsite or plant-based roles, with strong sourcing skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions (e.g., 20+ openings at a time).\nExperience partnering directly with engineering or operations leaders\nProven ability to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies and build diverse talent pipelines.\nAbility to assess technical competencies in partnership with subject matter experts\nStrong knowledge of recruitment technologies and a passion for improving and innovating processes to achieve creative and effective TA goals.\nUnderstanding of basic immigration laws and work authorization/visa requirements\nExcellent communication skills.\nExperience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).\nStrong interviewing, assessment, and candidate relationship management skills.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience hiring within EV, mobility, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing sectors.\nExperience supporting high-volume technical hiring ramps\nFamiliarity with relocation recruiting for specialized technical talent \n Benefits\nComprehensive benefits package: Medical (including FSA & HSA), dental, vision, life and disability insurance, EAP, mental health, and wellness programs \n401(k) with employer match \nPaid time off and twelve (12) paid holidays \nEmployee referral program \nCareer growth and development opportunities \nCareer Growth at ENC\nWe believe great careers and leaders are built from within.
