We are a fast growing 60+ person organization with deep robotics experience.\nCome join the company who will put 'beauty robotics' on the map!\nIntroduction\nWe're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a team of 7 mechanical engineers while remaining deeply involved in the technical work. This is a true player/coach role for someone who wants to design, build, test, and troubleshoot alongside their team-not simply delegate and manage from a distance.\nYou'll help set technical direction while contributing directly to mechanical design, CAD, prototyping, debugging, and product development. You'll lead by example, solve complex engineering problems, and help the team build reliable, production-ready robotic systems.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of 7 mechanical engineers while remaining an active technical contributor.\nWork hands-on in CAD, mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.\nOwn complex mechanical problems and drive solutions from concept through validation and production.\nReview designs, challenge technical assumptions, and maintain a high bar for engineering quality.\nDrive improvements in reliability, performance, manufacturability, and design for assembly.\nPartner cross-functionally with software, electrical engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve issues and scale production.\nBalance technical execution, team development, and project priorities.\nWhat You have:\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\nStrong experience designing and developing complex mechanical systems, electromechanical products, or robotic hardware.\nDeep technical expertise in CAD, prototyping, testing, and mechanical troubleshooting.\nExperience leading engineers while remaining directly involved in engineering execution.\nTrack record of bringing physical products from prototype through production.\nStrong understanding of design for manufacturing, tolerance analysis, and mechanical reliability.\nA low-ego, hands-on leadership style and a willingness to dive into the details to solve difficult problems.\nWhat Makes You Successful\nYou're an engineer at heart who enjoys solving hard problems and building great products.
