That pedigree shapes how we think, how we work, and what we expect from the people who join us.\nThe role\nWe run production platforms at national scale inside regulated markets: energy systems ingesting serious telemetry volumes, field operations coordinated around the clock, AI agents making decisions 24/7. All of it needs infrastructure that's fast to ship on, boring to operate, and defensible when a client's auditor asks hard questions.\nYou'll own that layer: cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and above all observability. Metrics, logging, tracing and alerting tuned to real operational risk, not noise. Our rule is simple: if you do it twice, automate it. You'll be the person who makes a small senior team move like a much bigger one.\nWhat you will do\nDesign, build and operate cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, containers, IaC) across multiple production platforms\nOwn observability end to end: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards and alerting that catch problems before clients do\nBuild CI/CD pipelines that let engineers ship to production daily with confidence\nHarden security and compliance posture: secrets, access control, audit logging for regulated environments\nManage cost, capacity and reliability across environments sized for what clients will grow into\nAutomate relentlessly: provisioning, tooling, anything the team does twice\nWhat you bring - Required\nStrong production experience with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud (AWS preferred)\nObservability depth: Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry or equivalent, and the judgement to alert on what matters\nInfrastructure as code by default (Terraform or similar) with real GitOps/CI/CD experience\nSolid scripting in Go, Python or Bash\nExperience operating high-availability systems: incident response, postmortems, and the scars to prove it\nStrongly preferred\nMulti-tenant SaaS or high-volume data ingestion workloads\nSecurity and compliance depth (ISO 27001 or similar)\nTime-series or streaming data infrastructure\nFlex market and energy systems experience is always a big bonus\nNice to have\nEdge or IoT fleet infrastructure exposure\nCost-optimisation war stories with numbers attached\nWhy this role\nNo ticket queue between you and impact. You'll set the infrastructure and observability standard for every platform we run, and your automation is what lets the whole company move at 10x pace.
