That pedigree shapes how we think, how we work, and what we expect from the people who join us.\nThe role\nYou'll be a core technical partner in our product trios, working with Product Managers and subject matter experts to bridge the gap between business needs and technical reality. This is hands-on: you'll write high-quality code and design scalable systems, but you'll also lead technical discovery, turn business goals into buildable requirements, and talk directly with our clients.\nThe systems you'll work on aren't CRUD apps. Think automation platforms coordinating field operations nationally, AI agents handling real operational workflows end to end, and electric vehicle systems where reliability isn't optional. If you've spent the last few years shipping tickets someone else scoped and wondering where the interesting problems went, they're here.\nWhat you will do\nWork as an integrated member of a product trio alongside Product Managers and SMEs, contributing to discovery, feasibility and roadmap\nLead technical discussions in client workshops and discovery sessions, articulating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders\nDesign and implement scalable systems from first principles. Write production-quality code for critical features and complex integrations\nChampion code quality through thorough reviews and team standards\nCommunicate progress, blockers and technical risks clearly to your trio and leadership\nAdvocate for and refine our engineering standards, including effective use of AI-assisted development tools\nWhat you bring - Required\nA strong track record shipping production systems as a senior engineer, from design through to running in production\nDepth in a modern backend language plus solid full-stack capability\nExperience leading technical discovery: assessing feasibility, de-risking early, turning business goals into buildable requirements\nConfidence working directly with clients and non-technical stakeholders\nEngineering rigour paired with comfort in fast, iterative product delivery\nStrongly preferred\nHands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows and building AI-powered features\nExperience with complex integrations: ERPs, billing systems, third-party APIs at production quality\nExperience in product trio / dual-track discovery ways of working\nFlex market and energy systems experience is always a big bonus\nNice to have\nExposure to energy, field services or other operationally intense domains\nExperience in agency or multi-client environments\nWhy this role\nYou'll reduce technical risk where it matters, early, and deliver complex features with real technical integrity.
