The Cloud Engineer will be involved with capacity planning, cluster provisioning, fleet management, alert monitoring, and escalations. This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager of Cloud Operations.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nProvide complete ownership and accountability of all responsibilities assigned regarding 11:11’s cloudcomputesystems.\n\nResponsible for cluster provisioning, alert monitoring, and environmental management\n\nAct as an 11:11 escalation engineer for customer problems including participation in engineering on-call rotation after hours.\n\nProvide escalation support to Level I Cloud Operations Engineers\n\nManage clustercomputecapacity (hosts, CPU/memory, etc.)\n\nDevelop, track, and report KPIs associated with cloud system capacity (CPU, memory, storage, etc.)\n\nProvide accurate, timely and professional responses to escalated customer tickets from support. These actions ensure a good customer experience.\n\nFollow 11:11 Systems best practices for cloudcomputesystems management.\n\nDeliver superior customer service while maintaining professional relationships.\n\nWork supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values\n\nResponsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies\n\nReview and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements\n\nAdditional duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in technical discipline or anequivalent years of work experiencerequired.\n\n4+ years recent experience as a technical, hands-on, enterprise VMware administrator\n\nVMware VCP or VCAP certified preferred.\n\nExtensive knowledge and experience using VMware management tools (vCenter,vCloudDirector, VMware Configuration Manager, NSX) preferred.\n\nExperience with backup and DR solutions such as Veeam and Zerto preferred.\n\nUnderstanding of cloud-based infrastructure services, such as BaaS, IaaS andDRaaS.\n\nExperience working with global data center environments.\n\nMust be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
