The person in this role is responsible for providing guidance and detailed documentation to the customer, as well as to 11:11 Systems engineering staff, shared and sales team members. This is a full-time remote position.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nProvide complete ownership and accountability of all assigned responsibilities regarding 11:11 Systems’ cloud network systems.\n\nLead network troubleshooting activities during incidents to resolve issues within SLA commitments, including those which are highly complex.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotation.\n\nDocument work in company ticketing system and create/maintain documentation in knowledge base.\n\nDevelop and maintain custom reporting and platform specific build and support documentation including diagrams and Customer Design Requirements (CDRs) which are thorough and highly technical.\n\nAssist in the preparation of detailed Service Incident Reports (SIRs) which provide a root cause analysis and preventative measures in response to high and critical incidents.\n\nPlan and execute changes in response to incidents, customer requests, lifecycle, implementation and decommission projects, most of which will be scheduled to occur outside of normal business hours.\n\nTriage incoming incident, change and request tickets for 11:11 Systems’ Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure and Disaster Recovery Customers.\n\nManage networking configurations including switches, firewalls, load balancers and IPSEC VPNs and WANs.\n\nImplement and administer network security hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy.\n\nProvide overflow capacity for Cloud Services deployment engineering functions as needed.\n\nProvide expert level support to the 11:11 Systems’ Network Solution Architect team as needed and relative to customer network designs.\n\nPursue advanced certifications and stay abreast of current technologies in the Cisco, F5 and VMware product space.\n\nFollow 11:11 Systems best practices for service management.\n\nWork supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.\n\nResponsibly receive, ,transmit, and handle all company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies.\n\nReview and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in technical discipline or related field experience.\n\n10+ years recent experience as a technical, hands-on, Cisco-based network engineer.\n\nCisco CCNP/CCIE certified with documented work experience.\n\nExperience working with global data center environments.\n\nSolid experience with support and implementation of virtualization clusters (VMware) and software defined networking, VMware NSX.\n\nExpert level experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASA/ASR and F5 LTM, APM, ASM hardware platforms with excellent troubleshooting skills.\n\nSuperior communicator with high energy, a positive attitude and aptitude for professional growth.\n\nWorking experience managing enterprise-scale, highly available, mission critical network infrastructure.\n\nThe following skills represent additional proficiencies preferred to be successful in this position: \nExpert level experience with internet routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.\n\nExperience with Citrix, Fortigate, Netscaler, SonicWall, and Juniper equipment.\n\nProfessional experience in a consulting or other enterprise customer-facing technical support role.\n\nSenior level experience with network design and architecting network topologies for diverse environments.\n\nAbility to pursue positive outcomes for assigned tasks, independently.\n\nU.S. Citizenship required.\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
