Day shift, 7am -3:30pm shift. 3-5 days per week.\nPosition Summary: Washes, stores, and stocks all plate ware, glassware, eating utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans and other small wares and equipment for the restaurant. Correctly cleans and maintains the dishwashing machine. Keeps dish machine area clean and sanitary. Ensure the restaurant is ready to open before service.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nReports to work on time and is on the dishwashing station as indicated on the schedule.\nWashes all dish wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.\nChecks dish machine to be sure it is operating correctly, including water temperature and immediately reports any defects to a member of the management team.\nCorrectly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.\nStocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.\nCleans trash receptacles with water or steam.\nMoves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.\nMay assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.\nEnsures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nBase Pay and Compensation:\nThe Dishwasher/Steward will receive an hourly wage range of $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.
