This role is designed for an early-career professional looking to build practical experience in social media, content creation, and website management within a mission-driven organization.\nThe Digital Communications Coordinator will support the execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across Educational Alliance’s network of community centers, helping ensure that all digital platforms are current, reflective of community needs, and aligned with organizational priorities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a range of digital tasks and learning by doing in a fast-paced environment.\nPlease note that applications will not be considered unless they include a cover letter.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDigital Strategy and Execution\nSupport the implementation of a unified digital marketing strategy across the organization’s social media accounts and websites\nHelp plan and execute digital campaigns that promote programs, services, and leadership priorities\nEnsure consistency in voice, tone, and branding across all digital platforms\nDigital Contect Creation\nPartner with program staff, Director of Communications, and Graphic Designer to source and develop content for social media\nIdentify opportunities to highlight programs, community members, and impact stories\nWrite compelling, mission-aligned captions and adapt content for different audiences\nCapture photos and short-form video at programs and events \nEdit basic photo and video content for reels, posts, and stories \nCreate simple, on-brand social media graphics using templates and existing design guidelines\nSchedule and publish content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms\nWebsite Content & Updates\nUpdate website content regularly, including program pages, event listings, and landing pages\nCollaborate with program teams to ensure website information is accurate and up to date\nSupport basic website formatting and content improvements in collaboration with Director of Communications and Graphic Designer\nAssist in building or updating program pages as needed\nEngagement & Monitoring\nMonitor organizational social media accounts\nRespond to comments and messages as appropriate, and engage with followers and partners\nTrack basic performance metrics across social and web and flag trends/ promotional opportunities \nQUALIFICATIONS\n1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media\nStrong writing and editing skills with attention to detail\nExperience creating digital content, including basic photo/video editing and simple graphic design using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools\nExperience capturing photo/video content in real-world program settings\nFamiliarity with website content management systems such as WordPress or Squarespace\nBasic understanding of social media and website analytics\nHighly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple content streams\nInterest in community-based work and mission-driven nonprofits\nLimitations and Disclaimers\nThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed;
