Across our network of community centers, we empower people of all backgrounds to flourish, recognizing the intrinsic value within each individual and the importance of building community.\nWe are seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to perform nursing duties, medication administration oversight, and psychoeducation at the Center for Recovery and Wellness. This is a full-time hybrid position with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nFollow protocols and policies for medication management duties in the residential addiction treatment facility, and support outpatient facility as needed.\nMaintain the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting of client files.\nAssess the medical status of new and existing clients and refer for outside medical care when appropriate.\nMonitor physical health needs for patients receiving ancillary withdrawal services.\nOversee all RNs, LPNs, Pharmacy technicians, and medical assistants through individual supervision and coaching, direct observation, and team meetings.\nInitiate and implement client care plans, interact with medical health care providers, oversee medical appointments, referrals, and follow-up appointments.\nOversees completion of admissions Level of Care for Alcohol and Drug Treatment Referral (LOCATDR).\nComply with CRW's policies and procedures.\nMaintain and participate in on-call Nursing Supervisor schedule.\nPreparing the medical case conference meeting agenda and facilitating the meeting.\nHandling complaints or other issues by following Justice Center Code of Conduct and all relevant internal policies and procedures.\nCollaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure all client care needs are addressed throughout treatment episode.\nDevelop and maintain weekly staff assignments/schedules.\nAssists the medical director in ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining records of reporting (DEA, Justice Center, OASAS, DOH)\nDeveloping/conducting quality assurance audits and documentation review, in collaboration with the leadership team.\nAssists in maintaining nursing staff initial and annual skills checklist, including the required regulatory training.\nAdditional responsibilities as appropriate. \nQualifications:\nRegistered Nurse (RN) with a valid New York State license required\nSupervisory experience strongly preferred\nExperience working with substance abuse and dual-diagnosis populations strongly preferred\nExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
