This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to hotel staff across the 1926 Collection properties, ensuring that IT systems, hardware and equipment function reliably and efficiently. Key tasks include responding to support requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment, and escalating complex problems to external vendors when necessary. The officer will assist with system updates, user account setups, routine backups, and basic network and security checks to support smooth hotel operations. Collaboration with operational and front-office teams is essential to ensure minimal downtime and a seamless guest experience.\nCandidates will be considered only if they are already legally residing and working in Malta and / or have authorisation to take up employment in the EU.\n\nDuties Include\nProviding first-line technical support.\n\nDiagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.\n\nInstalling, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, software applications, and devices.\n\nPerforming routine and preventative maintenance on IT hardware. \n\nUpdating operating systems and software applications.\n\nMonitoring system performance and taking proactive measures to address potential issues.\n\nAssisting in the setup and maintenance of networks.\n\nMaintaining network security measures.\n\nInstalling, upgrading, and maintaining computer hardware components.\n\nManaging inventory of IT equipment and supplies.\n\nCoordinating with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.\n\nConduct training sessions for hotel team members on IT systems and procedures as required.\n\nMonitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.\n\nKeeping informed about industry trends and advancements.\n\nCollaborating with the Commercial team to optimise digital operations.\n\nWork with HODs to improve their day-to-day procedures.\n\nTo Apply\nThe potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities:\nAuthorisation to take up employment in Malta is essential.\n\nStrong proficiency in MS Suite;
