You’ll work across annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, billing, and subscription metrics while helping create Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled reporting workflows that make decision-making faster and more reliable. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Financial Data Analytics, this role is remote within the United States and Canada.\nHow we’re using AI today\nOn the Finance team, we’re using AI to drive productivity, scale insight, and deliver better decision-making across 1Password. AI helps us move faster and sharpen our thinking, from summarizing context and pressure-testing assumptions to turning complex inputs into clear executive-level narratives. We bring AI into our work thoughtfully, improving repeatable workflows while staying accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and controls behind every output, creating space to focus on judgement, strategic partnership, and meaningful business outcomes.\nThis is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.\nWhat we're looking for:\nExperience in analytics or a related data role, with proficiency in SQL, including joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and analysis of large datasets.\nUnderstanding of data modeling practices, including fact and dimension tables, star schemas, and related approaches to organizing reliable data.\nAbility to translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical deliverables, gather requirements, and improve dashboards based on feedback.\nStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and careful attention to detail.\nExperience working with Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data is a plus, especially in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, with familiarity with metrics such as annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, subscriptions, or customer cohorts.\nExperience with BI or AI tools such as Hex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms is a plus; exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources such as Salesforce, Stripe, or NetSuite is also valuable.\nWhat you can expect:\nBuild and iterate on interactive dashboards in Hex that help stakeholders explore financial and business performance.\nTranslate business questions into self-serve reporting and actionable analysis across ARR, paying customer accounts, retention, subscriptions, and related metrics.\nContribute to trusted data models that support new pricing approaches, product lines, and evolving business models.\nSupport month-end, quarter-end, and financial reporting cycles by investigating variances, identifying drivers, and explaining why results changed.\nAutomate recurring manual and spreadsheet-based tasks using AI skills and workflows, helping teams spend more time on analysis and decision-making.\nPartner with Analytics Engineering to productionize reporting sources, improve data quality, and maintain clear metric definitions.\nPresent your work to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Data and Analytics teams.\nUSA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $95,000 USD and $133,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.\nCanada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $83,000 CAD and $116,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.\nAt 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.\nOur culture\nAt 1Password, we prioritize collaboration, clear and transparent communication, receptiveness to feedback, and alignment with our core values: keep it simple, lead with honesty, and put people first. \nYou’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution.
